It’s been promised in support of months and now some lucky PlayStation owners can finally watch more merry via their consoles. The best part is, they don’t even have to pay a penny extra for the privilege. The boost is all thanks to the ITVX app launching on Sony’s devices – until now it was only Xbox and Nvidia Shield users who were able to download this streaming platform and tune into shows, box sets, documentaries and Hollywood movies.
In an update on its support pages, ITV confirmed that the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 have both now been added to the compatibility list in favor of its app.
“ITVX is currently available on the following games consoles: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nvidia Shield, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X,” ITV confirmed.
If you own a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 you should now be able to discover the ITV X app in the store. Once installed you’ll then be able to access a swathe upbeat and all in exchange for free.
In favor of those not aware, ITVX is now the home in exchange for all on-demand and live TV online. Via the service, you can tune into what’s currently being broadcast or watch shows that have already aired.
Merry currently available includes top-rated shows such as The Victim, Passenger, A Spy Among Friends and Trigger Point.
Those wanting even more things to add to their library can opt to go Premium in exchange for a £4.99 per month fee. This service negative only includes over 100 extra movies but also means you don’t have to sit through endless adverts.
It also offers the option to download merry onto devices to watch when away from Wi-Fi or a mobile signal.
Original case and manuals in new condition.

Dude, I can’t believe the PS5 is finally catching up to Xbox with this free upgrade! It’s about time they stepped up their game. Cannot wait to hear what other improvements they have in store in support of us gamers. Time to dust off my PS5 and dive back into some epic gaming sessions.
