Man, Indie Game: The Movie feels like a blast from the past even though it’s only 12 years old. I remember watching it back in 2012 and being blown away by the stories of the indie game developers behind Fez, Braid, and Super Meat Boy. It was like a window into a world that most gamers didn’t really know about at the time. The standing ovation it got at GDC just goes to show how much it resonated with people. It’s crazy to think about how far indie games have come since then, but this movie will always hold a special place in gaming history.
Man, it’s crazy to think that Indie Game: The Movie is already 12 years old. I remember watching it back in the day and being blown away by the stories of these indie game developers. It really felt like a window into a world that we didn’t get to see very often. The fact that it still feels like a relic just goes to show how much the gaming industry has evolved since then. It’s cool to look back and see how far we’ve come, but also kind of nostalgic, you know? Time flies when you’re having fun playing games.
