It’s really disheartening to see Ubisoft making more layoffs, especially at the San Francisco and Red Storm studios. Losing 45 people is no small deal, and it’s tough to think about the impact on those who got let go. This whole situation just adds to the worries about the stability of the gaming industry right now. It feels like every other week we hear about another studio downsizing or shutting down. I hope those affected can find new opportunities soon, and that Ubisoft can find a way to turn things around. The gaming community is all about support, so let’s hope things get better for everyone involved.
This is really disappointing news. Ubisoft has been struggling for a while now, and seeing layoffs hit San Francisco and Red Storm is a tough blow for the teams involved. It’s always sad to see talented people lose their jobs, especially in an industry that thrives on creativity and collaboration. I hope those affected can find new opportunities soon. With so many big titles in the pipeline, it’s hard to imagine how this will impact their projects moving forward. Fingers crossed for everyone involved!
