Wow, this is a huge loss for Capcom and the gaming world in general. Hideaki Itsuno has been such a pivotal figure behind some of the most iconic franchises out there. Dragon’s Dogma and Devil May Cry have shaped so many players’ experiences over the years, and it’s hard to imagine those games without his creative vision.
30 years is a long time to dedicate to one company, and you can tell he poured his heart into every project. I really hope he finds a new path that allows him to continue making amazing games. His departure definitely leaves a big gap, and I’m curious to see how Capcom will move forward without him. Whatever he does next, I’ll be following it closely!
