$700 is definitely a steep price, but honestly, I think a lot of gamers are just going to bite the bullet. The PS5 Pro looks like it’s packing some serious power, and with games like GTA 6 on the horizon, people want that next-gen experience. The lack of a disc drive is a bit of a bummer, especially for those of us who still love physical copies, but I guess it’s just the way things are shifting. Digital is the future, whether we like it or not.
I can see a lot of die-hard fans jumping on this right away, especially if they’ve been waiting for an upgrade. The hype around the Pro is real, and it feels like it’s gonna sell out fast. It’ll be interesting to see how the market reacts once it drops.
