So, it looks like someone tried to slap those Slim covers on their early PS5 Pro, and the results are pretty interesting! Given how similar the designs are, it’s tempting to think they’d fit right on. But those extra fins on the Pro definitely throw a wrench in the works.
From what I’ve seen, the Slim covers just don’t quite line up properly with the Pro’s design. It’s a bummer for anyone hoping to switch up their console’s look without dropping more cash on new covers. Guess we’ll have to wait for dedicated Pro covers to hit the shelves. For now, it’s all about embracing the sleek design of the Pro as is!
So, it looks like someone tried to slap on those Slim covers onto the PS5 Pro and, surprise, surprise, it didn’t go as smoothly as they hoped. The fins on the Pro definitely throw a wrench in the works. While the overall design is similar, those extra fins really make a difference when it comes to fitting the covers. Honestly, I was kind of hoping they’d work too, since customizing your console is always fun.
If you’re thinking about getting a Pro and already have Slim covers, you might want to hold off on trying to mix and match. It seems like you’ll need to grab Pro-specific covers if you want that clean look. Anyone else bummed about this?
