Today, NetherRealm Studios hosted the latest edition of the Kombat Kast–the semi-regular livestream highlighting new characters and features coming to Mortal Kombat 1 in the near future. Though Halloween was last month, the presentation kept the scares going with a full reveal of Ghostface from Scream, along with an interesting twist: The character is actually three Ghostfaces in one, and two of them are from the Mortal Kombat universe.

Man, that Kombat Kast was wild! Ghostface being three different characters is such a cool twist, especially since it fits perfectly with the whole Scream vibe. I love how NetherRealm is blending their universe with horror icons. It’s gonna be interesting to see how they play off each other in fights. Plus, having two of them from the Mortal Kombat universe just adds another layer of depth. Can’t wait to see the moves and fatalities they come up with! This game just keeps getting better and better!
