That Splinter Cell film is dead

The long-in-development Splinter Cell movie has been killed.  That’s according to the project’s producer Basil Iwanyk – as reported by The Direct – who said that the film had been shelved because they “couldn’t get it right”.  Work on a Splinter Cell movie began back in 2012 with Tom Hardy pegged to lead as series protagonist Sam Fisher.
