Ubisoft has responded to a big Assassin’s Creed leak that revealed the first information about Animus Hub, which is the new name for the codename Infinity project. In a post on Reddit, Ubisoft said “inaccurate rumors” were spreading online, so it decided to clear a few things up.

Finally, some clarity on the whole Animus Hub situation! It’s good to hear that all the rewards are going to be free—no one wants to deal with another paywall situation, especially after all the drama with other games. I was really worried about the potential for a subscription model or a battle pass, but it seems like Ubisoft is trying to keep it player-friendly this time around. Hopefully, this means we can just jump in and enjoy the content without worrying about spending extra cash. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
