Man, it feels like Assassin’s Creed Shadows just can’t catch a break. I mean, the hype was already shaky with all the drama around the African samurai stuff, and now this whole situation with the Indonesian support studio just adds fuel to the fire. It’s a bummer because I really want to see this game succeed. Ubisoft has been on a rollercoaster lately, and it seems like every time they try to do something bold, they end up stepping in it.
I get that there are valid concerns, but I hope they can turn it around and deliver a solid experience. The concept of exploring new cultures and stories in the AC universe is super intriguing, but they need to handle it with care. Fingers crossed that the game itself ends up being worth all this pre-launch chaos!
Man, it feels like Assassin’s Creed Shadows just can’t catch a break. I mean, every time we get a glimpse of it, there’s some new controversy popping up. The whole African samurai thing has stirred up a ton of debate, and now with the issues surrounding the support studio, it’s like Ubisoft can’t seem to catch a win.
I really hope the game turns out to be good because the AC series has had some amazing entries, and it would be a shame for this one to get overshadowed (pun intended) by all the drama. I get that people care about representation and historical accuracy, but can we just wait until the game drops before jumping to conclusions? Fingers crossed the gameplay speaks for itself and we can finally enjoy a solid AC experience again!
