Nier Automata really did change the game, didn’t it? It’s wild to think how a title like that could spark a renaissance for Japanese games. I mean, it showed that local devs could create something that resonates globally, not just in Japan. The storytelling, the gameplay, and that killer soundtrack—everything just clicked. It’s like it opened the floodgates for more unique and experimental titles to come out of Japan. Now we’re seeing a bunch of awesome games that aren’t afraid to take risks, and that’s what we need more of!
