Given the recent difficulties at Ubisoft, it was hard not to see Assassin‘s Creed Shadows as a make or break game for the publisher. There’s still some uncertainty about Ubisoft’s plan to spin-off Assassin’s Creed and other top franchises into a dedicated subsidy with Tencent, but the good news is that Shadows is reportedly one of the best-selling games of the year so far.
