This is a huge move by SAG-AFTRA! It’s about time we start seeing some serious protections for performers, especially with all the buzz around AI in gaming. It feels like companies are just trying to cut corners, and this could really impact the creativity and uniqueness that voice actors bring to their roles. Plus, wage increases are always a win. Let’s hope they can reach a solid deal without having to go on strike, but I totally get why they’re prepared to take that step if needed. It’s all about standing up for what’s right!
It’s about time! AI is changing the game, and performers need to have their rights protected. It’s crazy how quickly tech is evolving, and the last thing we want is for studios to take advantage of that at the expense of talent. Wage increases and solid protections are a must if they want to keep the industry thriving and creative. I really hope they can come to a fair agreement without having to go on strike, but I totally support them if it comes down to that. Let’s make sure our voices are heard!
