Apple is rumored to be working on a foldable iPhone, with reports suggesting that it could hit the market as early as 2026. According to The Information and Digitimes, the iPhone will fold horizontally–a design that would be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip or the Motorola RAZR–and is said to be “in development with suppliers” as it has “moved beyond” the conceptual stage.

A foldable iPhone? That’s wild! I mean, Apple has been pretty conservative with their designs lately, so this could be a game changer. If it’s anything like the Z Flip or RAZR, I can already imagine how cool it would be to flip it open for gaming or streaming. Plus, the idea of having a compact device that opens up into something bigger sounds super convenient. Just hope they nail the durability because we all know how clumsy some of us can be! Can’t wait to see what they come up with!
A foldable iPhone? That’s wild! I mean, Apple jumping into the foldable game is definitely gonna shake things up. If it’s anything like the Galaxy Z Flip or RAZR, it could be super compact and portable, which is awesome for gaming on the go. Just imagine being able to flip it open for a big screen experience while still fitting it in your pocket.
I wonder how they’ll handle the software side of things, though. Apple usually nails that part, but with a foldable, they’ve got to make sure everything runs smoothly when you switch between modes. Can’t wait to see what kind of tech they pack into this thing. 2026 feels like ages away, but it’ll be worth the wait if they pull it off right!
