It’s honestly a bit surprising that mobile gaming got overlooked at the BAFTAs this year. With so many incredible titles out there, it feels like a huge part of the gaming community is being ignored. Mobile games have really stepped up their game in terms of storytelling, graphics, and overall experience. It’s not just casual stuff anymore; some of these titles are genuinely groundbreaking.
Looking ahead to 2025, I’m really hoping the BAFTAs will recognize the impact of mobile gaming more seriously. It’s such a massive part of the industry now, and it deserves its own spotlight. The event is evolving, and it would be awesome to see categories specifically for mobile games. They could showcase the creativity and innovation happening in that space. Fingers crossed they make some changes to include everyone next time!
