Man, this is rough. It feels like every few months we hear about more layoffs in the gaming industry. I get that companies need to streamline and all, especially after big acquisitions, but it’s still a bummer to see so many people losing their jobs. Man, it’s tough to see so many jobs getting cut like this. I get that the gaming industry is always shifting, especially after big acquisitions like Activision Blizzard, but it still sucks for those affected. At least they’re not closing studios or canceling games, which is a relief. Hopefully, this means they’re just trying to streamline things and not gearing up for something worse down the line. Fingers crossed for everyone who lost their jobs—hope they land on their feet soon.
