11 Bit Studios makes layoffs

Poland’s 11 Bit Studios has laid off an unknown number of staff.  In a post on its website, the company said that it had cancelled work on Project 8, which was to be the outfit’s first console-focused game. Work on Project 8 began back in 2018; by 2024, 37 members of staff were attached to the project.  11 Bit reckons it has spent PLN 48.4 million ($11.8 million) on the game to date.&nb…
