Man, this is just sad to see. Ubisoft has been struggling for a while now, and it feels like they just keep digging a deeper hole. Losing 185 more employees is rough, especially with all the talent that’s already been let go over the past year. It’s hard to believe they’re still calling it “restructuring” when it just looks like a constant stream of layoffs. I get that the industry is changing, but it’s a bummer to think about all the people affected by these decisions. Hope the folks impacted land on their feet soon.
Man, this is just heartbreaking to see. Ubisoft has been through so much already, and now more layoffs? It’s wild how many studios are struggling right now. It really sucks for the people affected, especially after everything they’ve already been through. I hope the remaining teams can find a way to keep pushing out great games, but it’s tough to stay optimistic when you hear news like this. The industry needs to find a better balance; it feels like every week there’s another round of bad news.
