It was in 2017 that the landscape of competitive gaming was changed forever when Fortnite burst onto the scene with weird blue juice and a mess of blueprints. It continues to thrive by introducing new content and other games are trying to make their mark in the battle royale genre while they still can. This is where Battle Crush makes an impact using the efforts of NCSoft to catch attention. It’s currently in beta so there’s still a lot to be worked out in development, but there may be enough already to get us excited for the finished version.

Updated on March 22nd, 2024 – Version: 1.10.00 – Added Mulan, Kyle

Seven Knights is a well-established household name. So from a marketing perspective, it is only natural to see the waves of spin-offs these popular IPs spawn in its wake. With a sweet spot for all stuff cutesy, the energetic pipsqueak SD sprite for its cast sealed the deal for me. The same goes for the character artwork that’s worth drooling over. But hey, looks aren’t everything, it’s the strength of each Hero that matters. We constructed the Seven Knights Idle Adventure tier list to answer the million-dollar question – can their prowess match their fancy designs? … [MORE]

The Epic Games mobile store will be coming to iOS and Android by the end of the year, it has been revealed. At the Game Developers Conference, during the State of Unreal talk, Epic Games Store general manager Steve Allison spoke about how the company had been slugging it out with Apple and Google. It seems this has paid off for them however, as the company is now set to bring the Epic Games Store to iOS and Android by the end of 2024.

The change is partially fuelled by both the outcome of the Epic v Apple case and by changes to legislation in markets like the EU. In layman’s terms, Apple and Google (mainly the former) have been ordered to allow competing storefronts on their devices. This is because blocking either the integration of new app stores or alternative payment methods (i.e. not using Apple’s in-built services) has been judged as ‘anti-trust’ or essentially anti-competitive. … [MORE]
