Liquid Swords latest NetEase-backed studio to lay off staff Sweden’s Liquid Swords is making cuts to its workforce.  In a post on the studio’s website , CEO Christofer Sundberg said that this decision had been made due to “the present challenges” facing the games industry. Epic Games Store hits 295m PC users in 2024 The Epic Games Store now boasts over 295 million users on PC.  In the company’s annual Year in Review blog post for 2024 , the Fortnite giant reported that this was an increase of 25 million accounts year-on-year.
