Aerosoft and Crenetic, a pair of studios specialising in simulation experiences and behind the Emergency Call 112 franchise have renewed their partnership and more importantly for us, they’ve also announced that Emergency Call 112 – The Attack Squad, will be making the jump to mobile soon! Although details are scant on an exact release date, we can be sure that the game is coming to iOS as a Mac release is on the cards.

Putting you in the shoes of a veteran firefighter crew, Emergency Call 112 was previously released for consoles like the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. What could it be..?

Shinji Mikami, best known for creating the Resident Evil franchise and for his work on titles such as P.N.03 and The Evil Within, has seemingly established a brand new company after leaving Tango Gameworks in 2023.

As spotted by VGC, the information can be found via a short biographic description on the new Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered website. Mikami had acted as Creative Producer on the original 2011 release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Launching later this year.

Grasshopper Manufacturer has confirmed that Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will be making its way to the Switch in 2024.

As covered by Gematsu, the game is now currently playable for attandees at PAX West in Seattle. For the uninitiated, the original game launched back in 2011 and was written by Suda51, known best for his work on titles like No More Heroes and Killer7. It was also produced by Resident Evil veteran Shinji Mikami.

Switch to the tropical.

The beautiful open-world adventure game Tchia — which launched on PC and PlayStation in 2023 — is landing on Switch this Summer. The announcement was made during today’s Future Games Show: Spring Showcase 2024.

Tchia’s bright and colourful world is inspired by New Caledonia and sees you on a quest to save your kidnapped father. Tchia, the main character, can “soul jump”, which means she can possess animals and items around her. As a human, she’ll need her trusty leaf glider, raft, and ukelele to travel around and inspire.

Oh lord.

The latest Japanese charts are in courtesy of Famitsu (thanks, Gematsu) and it’s another victory for Atlus’ Unicorn Overlord, which comes in at number one again after selling a further 16,012 copies. Not bad considering how difficult it’s been to picked up a physical edition recently.

It’s another resounding success for the Switch as a whole, actually, with the only representation for the PS5 being Final Fantasy VII Rebirth at number two. Elsewhere, we’ve got Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at number three, Super Mario Bros. Wonder at number four, and Splatoon 3 even pokes its head in at number ten.
